GT350 leaky trunk problem, next day after purchase

I had my paperwork and bill of sale for the car, they all got soaked. Noticed it after I placed the cargo tray and didnt come back to it till 4 hours later noticed a puddle of water glittering at me

this is on the passenger side, just under the gutter sloping down towards tail light.. if you lean under by the carpet lining, it collected right inside the weld notch(?) a cup of water was enough to replicate it..

glad you got your car.. This should be an easy fix..Although you don't expect that on this level of car...it still starts out on the same asembly line:ford: with the same Ford workers.. I know your dealer will take care of this. sorry about those documents...enjoy the rest of the car

I have the same issue just on a GT. My wife noticed the carpet was wet in the trunk so i pulled out the liner and looked on both sides of the trunk (basically behind where the wheels would be) and both sides had water in them. Now when I wash the car I also notice the carpet is wet.

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

Have you talked to your dealer about this?

ford says the whole window should be replaced not re-sealed.. :eyebulge:

Really?!? Replace the whole damn window? That is just enough to make me sick. Were they able to replicate the issue pretty easily or had they seen it before?

thats right, but I dont wanna see any silicone smeared around to stop it, i bought a 60k car it needs to be fixed
