Hi all,

I'm really sorry if this has been covered to death elsewhere, but I can't find it??

I've found loads of install vids on YouTube and a few written bits here and there, but not any post fitting info.

What does fitting a GT350 intake actually do for the Coyote? I bet the whole reason behind not fitting the larger throttle body as you'll need a tune, but surely, to gain any benefit from the manifold you'd need a tune anyway?

It's a £1000 mod, is it worth it?

The manifold needs tuning, the throttle body needs tuning and the CAI needs tuning.

Fit just the manifold the car will run, but the VCT and cam angles will alll be wrong, probably drive like shit.

TB & CAI a tune is absolute otherwise the car will not drive.

OK, so what ever you do the car needs a tune, thanks for that. I guess N-gauge can take care of that for us, but you don't use N-gauge do you Gibbo?

Also, what benefit is there in fitting the Manifold then? I assume it just has longer runners over the stock Coyote? Big power to be had?

Ngage is usually used with Lund (which Gibbo uses).

Generally most mods to get any form of power from will need a tune to really 'unlock' them. But that's just from my simple brains knowledge.

JDM and Lund can tune the 350 setup, I use an SCT X4, loads for sale on ebay just make sure you purchase one from USA that is a 7015(Ford). UK SCT X4 7015-UK is not compatible with USA tunes.

Or nGauge if your using Lund, though both tuners can tune for X4.

350 manifold extends the power range, stock manifold falls of a cliff past 6500rpm whereas 350 manifold peaks around 7500rpm and then hold too 8000rpm.

Typically 30-40HP gain peak over stock manifold with CAI and tune, after 7000rpm the gain turns into around 60BHP.

Great if you love revving it.

Anyway I have posted the install, dyno sheets in my build thread so go check it out.
