GT350 air intake

I finally got around to taking all my GT350 parts to get fitted and I noticed how poor the quality of the air intake is. I'm currently using a Roush air intake and the build quality is amazing, am I wrong to expect the same from Ford ? :shrug:

I have the GT350 CAI... you know, the one that comes on a GT350. Poor quality my ass.

And what's great about it is that you can slap on the driver's side FRPP oil separator. Not that anyone actually needs it for a street-driven car or even anyone that doesn't breach like 7600 RPM, but... you know... parts are cool.

That is exactly my point, I was expecting some GT350 awesomeness. I'm swapping the GT350 filter for GT500 one, which looks better quality, more like the Roush.

Yeah, Unfortunately it's function over form with genuine ford OE parts. When you consider the air intake is £275 with the MAF sensor for a genuine ford part its not bad going!

I've yet to see the function but once the bonnets down, i'm sure i'll forget all about it
