I get the GT boys fooling with the exhaust. Based on what I heard for a few days last week, I don't *get* the GT350 boys wanting to fool with it. If you don't think it sounds right, well, you're wrong. :D Doesn't make enough power? Hmm. Go lighter weight with titanium? OK, but at what benefit / expense?

I can cheer on 1%'ers with the best of them; however, some money is better spent on brake pads and tires.

And then... there's the whole *warranty* conversation.

If you haven't heard and driven this car in person, choose wisely what you screw with. As for me, I'd like a better seat to hold me in place better because of the GRIP. Don't read that the stock seat isn't good.

This car wants for very little straight from Ford. I know, I wouldn't have believed it either...

For anyone who has ever owned or driven a Mustang on a racetrack... this car is *Mustang* in Name Only. It's a new benchmark that Ford is going to have to exceed. That's great news.
I totally agree.

I have not been interested in any of the Ford Mustang variants in the last 20+ years (ok, Boss 302 came close...) until this car came along. I heard "new GT350", and was like, yeah they'll add some tape rocker stripes and big wheels, etc, etc. I had not even paid attention to what Ford was planning until a week before I put down a deposit on one.

I may be eating ramen noodles after it shows up to afford wheels, tires and brake pads.

I saw this car at launch last year, like everyone else. I thought it looked cool but I didn't pay it much attention as something I would actually want for the track. The usual recipe from Ford was just what you described, more appearance and flash than performance. I've ridden in several Boss 302 cars on the track and they are "nice". I remember commenting on a ride that "it's pretty impressive what Ford has been able to do with the Live Axle." Would I buy a Boss 302 as a dedicated track car? No.

The GT350 is something else entirely. This car is causing problems.
