Has anyone installed a quad tip diffuser for the 2016 base Gt? On all the websites it says it only fits the premium models.

Also which gt350 diffuser is the best for the price?

Base bumper is one piece where the premium is two piece design.
You can't separate the diffuser on the base bumper.

What if I cut it off? I know on the premium there are clip holes, but can I mount it some other way?

Not cleanly, no.

Best bet would be to buy a premium bumper cover and have it painted. I'm thinking about doing that down the road.....or maybe finding a Shadow Black take-off.

Shouldn't cost too much to be honest. Do it right!
