Does anyone know if a factory GT350 air intake will fit the GT? I found one cheap and was curious if it would work.

Yes it fits and fits quite easily. :)

You will need a tune for it though as the maf tube is larger, I am not sure of the size but I believe its 105mm or 110mm, maybe someone here can confirm?

Remember you will make more power by also running it with an oiled high flow GT500 filter such as Airaid or KN. :)

I was just doing some research into this. Observations:
1. needs an extra vacuum line that you need to somehow fabricate (PP2 achieves this with a T).
2. throttle body diameter a tiny bit smaller than the intake, you need to tighten down or fill the space with something (gasket or whatever).
3. MAF diameter on the gt350 intake is larger than the gt intake, you need to either a)tune, or b)fabricate a venturi tube "insert" out of your original gt intake.

..and various other fitment shenanigans.

The Roush and GT350 intake look almost identical. Are they the same intake?

Essentially except the roush maf to tb tube is gt specific, and it also includes a reducer to run the stock tune...but remove it and it is the same diameter as the gt350 (105mm)

From jay tucker himself on the development:

Tuning was done by Brent Hughes of DTP Racing and it was pretty straightforward. He spent a few hours looking over the file and about an hour on the dyno,” Jay explained. “The stock mass air is about 105 mm, which for a naturally aspirated car is huge. Our kit is 118 mm and as you can see by the graph the power comes on in the upper rpm range where the new 5.2 can flow some air.”

Taken from a certain svt related forum and their cover story on jlts development for the gt350

Not worth having to cut the lines to T them into the GT350 intake. You'll never find those evap lines from a Ford Parts dealer unless you buy an entire intake manifold. Ask me know I know... otherwise great CAI.
