The Shelby forum says that the car has severe problems and the car magazines can't test them . Can you believe such crap over @ Shelby American :frusty: . I'm sick of all these rumors. The car is just awesome and is just going to kick ass. The 1/4 mile run is just what I needed to see . Thanks OP.

Interesting...Maybe they are pissed off and hating the world...Did you read the very poor review the 2015 SuperSnake got in the magazines this month?..not sure which one I read last night at barnes and noble, but it was not good...zero to six very slow compared to the hellcat which weight a lot more and this car supposedly had 850 HP and the quarter mile was slower than the 2013 Boss LS..they said the brakes were hit and miss, the back was loose and not stable....for a car that is $45K plus a GT this is ridiculous

Interesting...Maybe they are pissed off and hating the world...Did you read the very poor review the 2015 SuperSnake got in the magazines this month?..not sure which one I read last night at barnes and noble, but it was not good...zero to six very slow compared to the hellcat which weight a lot more and this car supposedly had 850 HP and the quarter mile was slower than the 2013 Boss LS..they said the brakes were hit and miss, the back was loose and not stable....for a car that is $45K plus a GT this is ridiculous

The supersnake comes in 627hp (the Roush/FRRP supercharger like the Stage 3) or 750hp.

No arguments the car isnt worth it though.

Gone are the days of 3rd Party Super-Mustang's. The capabilities of the GT and GT350 alone require ground up R&D. New vehicles can't just have parts removed and replaced... I'm probably not alone when I say that most of customers wheel and tire upgrades actually hurt the performance in some way as far as handling. Unless it's a popular upgrade used time and time again... most of the time our R&D was Trial and Error. This Gen will require more attention to get the performance they want. The base cars are already very good...


I'm glad the GT350, GT500 and Cobra are with Ford... that's all I'm saying...

I'm getting a 12.4s guesstament stopwatch timing thru 3rd/4th shift. He should be close to the end of 1320' right around that shift point. PP vehicle's are banging into 4th for just a sec or so before the traps. With that extra 1k rpm I'm thinking he is real close to trap right at the 3/4 shift.

With stop watch, I'm getting 12.2 -12.3 at the 3/4 shift....this is what I expect from the hp/weight ratio....with a stickier tire, 11.90's
