Speaking of heat vents, do you happen to know if the 2018+ model is identical in shape and size to the 2015 one? It would be nice if we could retrofit the vents with integrated turn signals. :inlove:
I understand they were next to useless in 2015 because of the bulged hood. But the 2018+ hood is flatter, so I think they could be visible from the driver's seat.

If you look carefully through the vent they do have a hole through them, but its much smaller than what the vent would suggest.

They also have quite an intricate seal and drip tray assembly so any water that passes though them drains in a controlled manner - look under your bonnet at the liner in the vent area :like:

Even if they didn't seal or have a drip tray you would be fine. I've been rocking an aftermarket carbon fiber hood with permanent vents for years now. Car sits outside and gets rain and snowed on and has been driven in heavy rain with water on the ground, snow, and whatever else you can think of. Only thing that happens is steam when you start her up after a rain. Gets a few weird looks from people thinking what the heck is going on.

Yeah my cosworth had a K&N cone filter on it that was directly under an open hood vent - it lived outside and was used daily in all wethers without a problem :like:

The left side vent on the Bullitt is not open, so it doesn't drip over the air filter. But the actual hood 'vent' is the same as the other side, so water does get over the hood insulator, and drips who knows where. I assume some under-hood heat escapes thru there, but the right one seems more effective.
