GT A6 tuning?

Who has tuned your basically stock GT A6 car? What were the results? What about the canned Diablo in tune tunes? What about VMP, Lund, Bama, Livernois, AED etc? I plan on adding a cat back exhaust and the PMAS CAI. Any help is appreciated. I'm really interested in track / dyno results. Thank you!

IMO, the best GT automatic tuning guru is Mike Roush at Mid Atlantic Performance in Virginia. Not only does Mike net big power improvements, but the drivability is second to none!

I have a Lund tune I purchased from Team Beefcake Racing. Really notice it in "Normal" mode more than any other. Not as lazy as it was before and shifts are firmer. It was worth it to me.

Just a little gun shy about the Lund tunes. Have a local A6 GT with a JLT cai and Lund Tune that's slower than our stock GT.

I can only go by seat of the pants since I have no official numbers but mine "feels" quicker. I am completely stock, air box and all. While I don't know your situation everything I've read about Lund indicates that if you aren't happy they'll work with you to make it right.

Hey Jayme - I've had the opportunity to rip a few A6's on our end here and Bama's got their shift schedules down to a science and I would highly recommend taking a look at their X4 Tuner - One of the greatest things about working with them is that they're able to tailor the feel to how you like to drive. Despite the Race Tune being a lot more aggressive and you would and will feel it it can be taken back some. It's a lot more noticeable when the cars cold but once the trans temp comes up you wont really notice it much.

I got in touch with Mike a few days ago. He's working on a 2015 tune now, maybe in a few more weeks.

our lund custom tunes are the best out there.

no offense to mike, but he can barely keep up on the 11-14 stuff, and the 15 is so much more involved

our lund tune on our 15 so far has gotten us a 9.59@145

Seriously Beefcake? Was it just a lund tune that got you that 9.59? Because I see no reference to anything else that may have contributed in what you stated?

To help clear up this very misleading statement imo. It would appear that this time was not ONLY from a lund tune, as it seems to imply. A number of modifications were in play. Not the least of which was a supercharger.

Imho, this is an example why you never solely trust a vendors claim of any product, without independent verification and addtnl research.

Whoa someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I think he was just implying that lund was more than capable of tuning an a6 with it grenading on you.
