Hi all,
ive read so many posts with different answers and mods but, could any recommend a speaker upgrades 9 speaker without using the forscan?
It has the shaker pro system, but I've had to install an amp and sub

I am highly satisfied with the Hertz 163.3 for the front six speakers and their co-ax for the rears. For reference, L listen to Bowers and Wilkins speakers at home.

Thanks mate, I appreciate it. I didn't want to go that far with the forscan. Did you, add an amp to those speakers or pretty much a plug and play?

It was straight plug and play. Used factory amp. Asked installer (who I highly trust). Told me that the factory amp was okay at normal volumes. Going to an aftermarket amp not necessary unless you want insane volumes. Be careful when comparing THD between amps. Look at the values at mid-volumes, not max volume. I think you'll see little difference. Besides, I have a convertible and it's a summer only car. Wouldn't hear any difference in sound with an aftermarket amp.

I did add a JL 10" woofer in a stock enclosure and JL amp. That made a big difference.
