Grey surrounding the windshield on 2021 gt

Hey guys...I've just tinted the windows of my 2021 gt premium and noticed the surrounding film around my mustang windshield is grey after I put the sunstrip tint on. Does anyone have this grey surrond on theirs or is it black? The ones I've seen on person are black but I haven't seen another one like mine and I'm confused why mine is grey, as most cars on the planet are black! It made the sunstrip look pretty weird so I'll be taking it off. The grey surround does bug me though thats for sure as black would have been much less noticeable and sleek. Thanks and look forward to hearing back from anyone with a newer mustang gt.

Thanks for the pictures! Glad I'm not the only one. Thought I got a covid windshield or something. I wonder why they did grey. I really don't like it! But I think if I take the sunstrip off I will not notice it as much...........as much

I had a sun strip put on for about an hour. It just was too distracting and made it seem like my windshield had shrunk. peeled it off when I got home from the installer.
