I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of my lowly GT beating your "Shelby" in the quarter
Why is Shelby in quotes? It's not a fake GT350 😜 I fully accept the GT350 isn't a straight-line-demon, and I don't care. It has character

I'd let you win, even if I was faster. That's the kind of guy I am.

@Mikthehun1 I had the 3.15 gears. I know what that bowl of oatmeal drives like

I cross the 1/4 at 151 mph in 6th at 7400 rpms. Second gear launch with 3.55s and a 305/45/17.

what are you using to read mph? Because my tach wasnt correct. It was showing 142mph but my draggy and slips all said 151 consistently.

Oh now it's on...

I'll add this for you to chew with your oatmeal. An S550 "Shelby" is much a Shelby as a Mach-E is a Mustang

Oh no you didn't. It's on...
SHELBY KIDS, ASSEMBLE!
We're gonna kick yer fanny

I'll add, while what you said may be technically true, I don't really care if Carroll Shelby didn't have anything to do with the car... That Voodoo is badass.

When will be the next time you’re at the track and will you be graphing this for each run?

Did a graph of my Mustang shift points, and RPM drop per gear for the first 6 gears. It can finish the 1/4 mile in 6th gear by holding the RPM's a bit higher at the finish. Last time out was 138MPH in the 1/4 (3500 DA), but should be 140+ next time out. 8,000 RPM would be 144mph, so as long as I stay under that, I should be able to cross the line in 6th.

Your computed speeds look a bit high, given certain tire compliances that increase the number of engine revs necessary (it's about a 3% correction in most cases). Nobody else's tire speed vs rpm chart I've ever seen knows about this. Hope it helps; it's made for close situations like yours may well be.

I'm getting these road speeds for the first 7 gears at 7500 rpm, 3.55s, and 27.41" calculated tire OD.
