Absolutely. Except for the fact that NJ doesn't allow a second occupant other than an instructor (and I'm not instructor-qualified) I'd invite you to grab a helmet, buckle in, and sit right seat for a few hot laps.do people do that in real life? I do that in Forza and end up in the grass
For the record, I can't keep the "car" in ANY driving simulation on the black part (not even on the fancy high-$$$$$ rig that was at the Ford display at the Philly Auto Show last weekend, and as I told the attendant when my time ended, "I'll just stick to the real thing" . . .). The feedback I need just isn't there, and there's way too much nonlinearity/slack/slop in the controls.
You'll note that the lower number on the little dash display has three digits, and I have some datalog traces of lateral acceleration.
Here's a short clip taken from a couple of laps earlier up to just after the still shown above. Even in traffic, it's a 90+ mph corner at the intermediate level or higher, and the car definitely has more than 105 in it through there because I've seen it. The still was grabbed from somewhere around 3:45 or so.
