That's a shame and I sympathise, I had a similar issue in early Jan but went ahead with reordering, so if anyone is cancelling a GT fastback, manual, race red, all options, not custom pack please let me know!!

Did they offer anything in return if you took the GB car? ie money or summat?

The only offer was to reorder for me in lightning blue. I think they didn't realise how fast orders were progressing now and we're caught out. I explained that waiting for another 7-8 months was not going to happen and I may as well switch to a 2018.
