Agreed, there is some pride in making the 500+ whp NA especially in a gen 2, being that the gen 3 is capable to make 500+ A LOT easier. However, its had more problems due its new build and direct injection not to mention those batches of cars with bad mt-82 shift forks. And there some pride in getting to 500 whp all motor. I'm at 425 whp all motor right now and would like to get to 500 whp at some point in the future. Right now I have a ford racing stage 2 power pack, ford racing sport mufflers, resonator delete/x-pipe, and long tube headers. Next step is the GT350 intake manifold, and then cams. And if that don't get me to 500 wheel, then I'll get an E-85 tune and see if that gets me there.
Thanks man and yeah it will be a challenge im guessing a year and a half or two years haha I dont want to half ass it I would rather have quality parts and it take longer. Also fox body! I eventually want to do one of those or an 09 gt500.Godspeed in your journey! To be a high school student going to college and aiming for 500 wheel na in a new mustang is a big goal! When I was your age I made a 500 wheel with hand me down parts and a given up fox body project and had to hustle my butt off to make it work reliable haha. The amount of money I dumped into it I should have invested in real estate or stocks but I proved a point! Then I sold it
