Got antsy, worked with beefcake ordered upgrades

I wasn't happy with how my Roush Supercharger (stage 1) kit drove, wanted more grunt, and am impatient and didn't wait for their stage 2 and 3 to be released. That said I ordered the following from beefcake racing:

1) 82mm pulley
2) VMP Boost a Pump
3) ID1000 injectors
4) NGauge Tuner w/ Lund custom tune
5) VMP 90mm idler
6) IAT2 plug and play relocation kit

Lund advised I go with the 82mm pulley over the 79 since I will be running 93 Octane gas.

Any thoughts on what I can expect from these upgrades? Anything to watch out for? Anything you have experience on that you would like to share?

Parts are in the mail, and might start to the install this weekend!!!!

Next mod will be wider rims and stickier, wider tires (running 255's all around now)

From what I was advised, it helps tuners monitor IAT temps to adjust timing.

Gotcha. Looks like the 90mm idler pulley just takes up slack in the belt.

From VPMs site looks like 85mm = 8psi. 82mm = 10psi. 79mm = 11-12psi.

The Whipple kits run 12psi IIRC.

Were you given any particular reason why the 82mm was recommended over the 79mm? With ID1000s you should have plenty of fuel.

82 doesn't seem like much more than 85mm.

I spoke with Jon Lund, and he stated the 79mm would be too much boost for 11:1 compression on 93 octane. I want the power but want to err on the side of safety. Here's what he said:

I can tune the 79mm pulley, but I just think it is too much on pump gas so I really have to be mindful with ignition timing. Not all pump gas is created equal and not equal throughout the year. Quality will vary. I like playing it safe
