Yep. Without trying to sound too windswept and interesting, I’m glad it happened to me.
I’ve thought about it a fair bit since it happened. I came close, very close to disaster, and I also came close to inflicting it on my girlfriend who was in the passenger seat.
My whole approach to driving has changed since then. I have a newfound respect for the car, and a better appreciation of my own limitations.
I also ironically love the Mustang even more. I think the car did its bit in keeping us safe, and I no longer feel the need to respond to any kind of baiting from other drivers. The Mustang is awesome at any speed, and has nothing to prove.
