Greets all,

I was wondering if anyone has noticed this issue and maybe see if Ford is going to do anything about it. Las year right around August my Jeep stopped displaying msgs on my screen, long story short I suspected it was the new radio unit was the culprit, I never paid attention to the Shelby as it was coming close to putting it away for the season and i wasn't really paying attention until last week when it was a nice day and I took the beast out for a spin and started testing this out and noticed I could not get any text msgs that came in as RCS, but yet both the jeep and my Shelby can get msgs if I turn off RCS and use regular SMS, but yet if I use Android Auto the problem is nonexistent and works fine, but I dont like plugging in the phone every time to the car. So since I noticed this isse I wanted to see or make everyone aware of this and if anyone has been given a solution to this other than turning off RCS every time you get into the car or have to plug it in.

Happy Spring Problem everyone :D

Mike: This isn't THE solution but it might do the trick if all you want is connectivity.

You can buy wireless Carplay/Android Auto devices that will make a Bluetooth (and some do Wifi,) connection to alleviate the need to "plug in." I keep mine in the center console and it works every time, you just have to wait a few seconds for the connection to be established.

This is the widget I have in two of our three vehicles.

I'll keep this in mind, but I dont use Android Auto all the time, I use the bluetooth connection more unless I have along ride, and the jeep has no capability of either carplay or android auto and I doubt this would make it work as one (if it did, I'd jump on it). Thanks though.
