Hello all,

Into my 2016 GT Vert, I have a 9 speakers without sub. The system is stock and I do not plan to upgrade it ( removed the center speaker and the factory EQ and I enjoy it for now! ). But I plan to add a sub. My concern is about the ratio . What would be a good ratio ( how many watts ) should I add to the amp and sub speaker.

My first choice would be an Alpine mono type D 600 watts amp coupled with the 750w "R" Alpine subwooker into a ported subbox. With a knob on the driver side to calibrate/adjust

As I'm not an audio expert, is this option too powerfull for our stock system ? I'm questionning about if I can just put let say 150-200W on the output to have a good balance between the sub and the other speakers, will this powerfull system will work properly ( Like if I put too much restriction the sound won't be good)

Or should I find an alternative with less power ?

Any comments, advices, ideas about this reflexion?
