Well I took a chance and took my dash trim to my local Ford body shop to be sanded, painted & polished. I must say I’m very pleased with the outcome. Only cost me $50 (My friend works there lol)

Looks great! I'm one of the few that doesn't seem to care for the turned aluminum dash pieces...I've been considering doing this, thanks for the "results"

I want to paint mine and other interior pieces to color match the body then hydro-dip in black and clear carbon fiber pattern for an overall lightning blue carbon fiber...no where near trying this but it has been in my mind for a while. Nice job on that OP

Almost as long as putting on the grilles and OPT7 lights, so maybe by 2022!

Hey man I'm old and only want to remove that damn bumper cover once! lol...and the OPT7's are on and working like they are supposed to with Grimmer's fix. (Didn't have to remove the cover for those). I've had interior parts sitting at my house for almost two years now, lol. Sorry OP for the derail...back to the glory of his painted gloss black dash...looks great!

Oh wow. I need that.

Just not sure of any good paint shops around here that I trust.
