This is my first Mustang, first muscle car, first performance car.
I find the fact that people are buying $35K +/- cars and then immediately making mods, and not cheap mods at that, absolutely fascinating. And of course the options available are almost too much to comprehend, certainly for a newbie like me. But I get it, I've got the bug myself, just want to learn as much as possible before I do.
With that said, I've spent a lot of time lurking and trying to soak it all in as much as possible. In my perusing I stumbled upon a site that did a great job spelling out the different mods and explaining them, and broke them out in order and technical difficulty, ie CAI, tune and exhaust as pretty much the standard tier 1/beginner mods, springs/bars/braces as tier 2, etc.
Naturally I cannot find this site again as I did not bookmark it, can anyone help point me in the right direction again? It was a great site, and yes I am kicking myself for not bookmarking it at the time, but I've just spent way too much time trying to find it again.

I'm perplexed too. I just dropped $30k (after rebates and trade-in) cash on the car- GT premium. All I am doing right now is catback for the sound. It had to be done on a V8 car.

In a few months CAI and tune. That is probably it though for performance. It's a daily driver car for me so I don't need suspension and sway bar upgrades etc.

Maybe some wheels down the road but I have the tire warranty on my factory wheels right now and the factory 18's aren't all too bad looking.

We're supposedly in a recession and people have $10-15k pure disposable cash to drop on toys for a brand new car they just bought is amazing.

No way to tell the site you were looking for. American muscle maybe?

Look back at your history. But to answer your question the easiest mod would be a tune followed by an intake then catback...catback may be even easier than an intake honestly. Beyond that I would say you would need to know some basic skills. Alot of it has to do with following directions, which im sure you can do

I custom ordered my GT/PP with all the options that I wanted. I also set in place all of the exterior mods I wanted before hand. So the day it arrived at my dealership, I sent it out for a clear bra, ceramic tint, matte stripes, smoked lenses, and painted emblems. I also had my local speed, VIVID RACING, order in advance an AIRAID CAI, EIBACH Pro-Kit, and SCT Tuner so they could get installed ASAP.

I personally don't want a "Stock" Mustang that looks like the next one parked in the lot. I have a vision of what I want/like and I enjoy customizing my vehicles.
