I’m doing an engine build right now with a sleeved 15 block bored to a 5.2 and ported 15 heads. My question is what head gasket to use for this setup. The gen 2 Head gasket is different I know, but I don’t believe it will fit with the 3.7 note. Also, cometic and some of the other aftermarket gasket manufacturers only list 11+ coyote in their catalog, so it doesn’t seem like they have anything specifically incorporating the changes to the gen 2 gasket. Does anyone have any idea about this?

You should contact a Mustang dedicated speed shop and ask an engine builder. Livernois, RGR, JPC Racing, etc. Is that 3.7 a reference to bore size millimeter increase?

Yeah that’s a good idea. I’ll give one of them a try tomorrow. 3.7 refers to the new bore size in inches. Stock was 3.63” I believe

BMR Tech I saw you guys just got a 5.2 build done with the 15+ heads. Any input you can offer on the head gasket situation with that combo?

I just used Cometic MLS head gaskets on a big block 427 Chevy build and they were good for a pretty decent range in bore size. I don't remember how much of a range it was, but I guess I'm just curious how much more bore size you have by going to 5.2

EDIT: From what I've read on this a standard 5.0 bore size is 3.63''. Voodoo 5.2 standard bore size is 3.7'' Looks like it may be possible to use 5.0 gaskets, but I'd verify that.
