Filled up at Costco a week ago Thursday morning, 87 was $3.64 a gallon. Same Costco today 87 is $4.57 a gallon. Just a little bit of a jump in about one week.

The fed tax is fixed at $.18 per/gal but most state/local taxes are % so the higher the base the higher the final goes up. At least the local tax stays local!
