I just keep a mini bottle of quick detail spray in my trunk and a microfiber. On the rare occasions i do spill, clean up is easy.

In New Jersey we are not allowed to pump our own gas. And some of this gas station workers don't give a cap if they spill gas all over your car. I had many arguments about that.. can't kill them.

ahhh yess there and Oregon - forced creation of "jobs"for minimum wage laborers. Such a great thing - forced at the point of the sword by the kings men. "Socialism" at its finest under the guise of being environmentally safe...

My first experience with this was when I moved to Washington from from the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia - about got into a fight with the dude at the gas station. I got out and was pumpin my gas when the turd came running out of the garage yellin at me.

What a load of shit - don't touch my car.

Carry a MF towel and some quick detailer in the car after fueling.

Id just have them fill up 4 or 5 five gallon gas cans, then take them home and pour it in yourself, unless they send someone to your house to make sure you dont do that either..I guess tell them you have a lawn service if they ask :)

Yes, because that will smell great. I would rather have gas on my paint than on my skin.

I think the story is someone accidentally (possibly intentionally) back in the day lit themselves on fire. So the politicians decided we're to incompetent to do it ourselves. Getting out of Jersey is on my list of things to do :tsk:

It was done as a way to protect minimal wage jobs. I live in Canada and love our socialism, but this is a bit to far as far as I am concerned. We should be encouraging people to break away from minimum wage jobs.

Its not like these gas companies make so much off of monopolizing gas prices, that they could afford to pay their workers a living wage. Oh actually...
