At start, the SYNC 3 shows the Mustang icon on screen. Is there a way to download a different file to assign as the start up screen, as was possible on the old SYNC system?

That has never been possible with SYNC2/MFT. You can change the wallpaper but that is it.

As far as I have been trying, I can't find the option.
Sync 3 does not really have a wallpaper.

I haven't found a way to do it yet either. A lot of stuff in SYNC 3 is software locked out. I wish i could find the thread on XDA about it but when it became open source someone started looking at things that were built in and a lot of it is just locked out. I don't know if its a feature they will enable in time.

Forscan is the solution to changing the splash screens. I just found it in the DIY section.

Using Forscan is the only option for changing splash screens however there is only 6 or 7 built into sync 3 that you can use.

I have it done, just go to the forscan section and the the program it's easy.
