In the supplement kit came the production numbers?!? How's that possible if you got a 2017, numbers weren't done yet. I'm going to check my supplement kit

These production numbers are not even close to being accurate therefore should not be used for any future reference.

What is correct and how do we validate if it is correct?

I just got a certificate of authenticity from Ford Show Parts and they include a sheet with the 2017 numbers. The numbers in the sheet I got don’t match what is posted here.

Interesting take. But rarity is king. And even though there is technically nothing special about the 2015 R's, they were unobtainable when they came out. And they basically still are today. Hard to compete with that and there only being 37 made. I don't see those cars ever being lower than the top spot.
Outstanding job young fellow and thanks for spending a great deal of hours putting these numbers all together.

Just a couple of comments/thoughts for you to consider and maybe just simple typo errors.

* Velocity Blue had 19 examples with White OTT stripes

* Ruby Red had 82 examples produced for the 3-year run

* Ford Performance Blue and Avalanche Gray positions should be reversed

* When weighing my 2018 Base R back-to-back with my 2020 R HE, the Base R was exactly 80# lighter but my 2020 R did not come with the Technology Package.

* Of the 135 Base R models built, 122 examples stayed in the U.S. and 13 went to Canada

* Last built Base R model was JR394 which was a Shadow Black unit and came with no OTT stripes and sold for well under MSRP

* It was interesting to note that of the 21 colors available for the 4-seat GT350 model only 20 colors were available for the 2-seat model as Ford refused to build a Competition Orange R for the 2015/2016 MY's even though a 4-seat model could be ordered in Competition Orange

* Rarest Base R model exterior color was Kona Blue with not one enthusiast ordering an Orange Fury Base R for the final production year even though it was available

With respect to various comments regarding the most valuable R model year, without question the 2015 50th Anniversary GT350/R model year will always be the top dog in terms of value and collectability.

Based on the extremely low production numbers of the 2015 R models, the list of who got allocated them such as Bill Ford (F0001), Jim Farley (F0004), Jay Leno (F0036) and John Atzbach who was allocated the very last unit (F0037), the launch model year, only year that the chassis number and VIN were the same, no R model in chassis designation, had to sign a 3-year no sale agreement from directly from Mark Fields, etc., the value will not even be close especially as time goes on.

You mentioned the last 2015 R to cross an auction block, I was fortunate to locate that vehicle (F0016) in the Fall of 2020 and it was sitting at a Ford dealership in Texas (Sam Pack) and had many conversations with Mr. Pack's personal assistant over a 3-week period.

If I recall correctly, F0016 was still in the wrapper and had 70 miles on the odometer and was still on the MSO with the GT350R Owners Kit gone missing.

Long story short, I was finally advised that F0016 was not for sale but was going to auction at Mecum in Kissimmee in January 2021, I immediately called a very close friend of mine in Georgia and told him this opportunity will never come up again and to not miss this car.

My good friend ended up being the high bidder with the hammer price being $105,000 and could not believe how everyone at Kissimmee was asleep for this wrapper 2015 GT350R that was still on the MSO.

Lastly, I ordered JR157 (Base R) back in August 2017 and had all kinds of issues to get that car built but finally Ford of Canada agreed to build a second Base R for the final production year and ended up being the only SB Base R with Lightning Blue OTT stripes. Sold it to a friend a while back and he just recently offered to sell it back to me and will see if that all works out.

Again, outstanding job of putting this all together and hope that some of the above information may be helpful to you going forward.

Aaron, what's the history of those FPRS red safecraft harnesses? Are they custom one offs or does Racecraft sell them. The Track Attack cars all had them but in black. Those red ones look pretty cool.

I had the owner of Safecraft get me all dialed in. I contacted Charles and we discussed options, initially I wanted grabber blue belts but ultimately went with red. Since they provided the driving school with all the harnesses, they were able to make the custom FP Racing school embroidery. I'm very happy with the 6 point harnesses 👍🏽.
Had 1 off lap belt attachment points made by Mike Black as well.
