2021 Mustang GT 30k miles. Just installed headers the day before. Went for a drive and my 401 fuel gauge went from just under a half to empty all of the sudden. Thought it might be the sending unit and replaced it. Still nothing. Removed power for a while and still empty. Any suggestions?

What is a 401 Fuel gauge?

Check fuses?

When the fuel sender is connected to the main harness and you move the float arm, does the gauge on the dash move? (Obviously would require removing the pump module again)

My first thought went to a wiring harness being damaged in the header install.
Either that or some weird coincidence.

I was just referring to the digital dash.
