fuel gauge floating?

Anyone have an issue with the fuel gauge going from 3/4 a tank back to full after sitting? I have noticed it the past couple days that it would "reset" to full (reads 99% on nGauge) then after driving a few miles starts to go back down to a real reading. It doesn't always happen but I have noticed it a couple of times now. Car is on level ground when it happens as well.

Any ideas?

I have had that happen once when I was getting gas. The nozzle clicked but the gauge was still sitting at 3/4 but then it slowly went all the way to full.

Mine stays at 1/2 tank until theres about 2 gallons left but it doesn't do what you're describing.

I think I figured it out. When I was messing with the IPC asbuilt data I tried one of the DTE menus settings and I believe it threw off the tank size for the level calculation. Reset the asbuilt value to stock and haven't noticed it since. Just filled up tonight without issue, so we will see when I get down to 3/4 tank again if it does it anymore or not.
