Fuel filler seal

Ok so this is a very hard thing to describe but do any of you notice the small black plastic piece that you push in when you put in the fuel nozzle? Has anyone else’s broken off??

I’m stationed in Italy where they pump your gas for you and the piece keeps coming off.

If anyone else’s has broken off I want to know where can I get a replacement

I haven't seen it come off on a mustang, but I did have a rental Ford fusion where that part was stuck in an open position.
