This morning, I walked to my car and noticed the fuel door open.Did some web searching and had no luck finding a fuel plug/cap for 2015 mustang, I just want the extra security and the peace of mind. If anyone has better luck finding one, please post the link. Thank You!

maybe I'm wrong but doesn't the filler cap lock when the car is locked? I know mine did in my M3...would assume this is a standard thing now...maybe I'm wrong

Should be able to go to your local ford dealer and they can get U one, no one can get gas out of your tank, there are two screens inside the pipe going down to your tank where someone can't get a hose down inside of it

That's what I thought, but sadly no, I just checked. You can still open the fuel door with the vehicle locked.

I don't car about someone stealing my gas lol. I'm more concerned about someone putting something in there, like sugar. I don't have any enemies or anything, but you never know, there are some sick people out there.

I can assure you that the one you linked does not work. I posted here about it some months ago that at the time I bought one as the parts guy at my dealer wasn't sure if it would work, but thought it might. It does not fit the filler hole on the 2015.

No, it doesn't lock. It's a "push to release" latch that can always be opened.

Ya I see that now, the lid on my M3 was a push to release too, and it locked when the car was locked....and it was 13 years old, figured this was standard by now

On my wife's Edge you need the correct sized funnel or else you won't be able to stick it into the filler hole. i.e. just any old funnel/hose will not do.

To opportunist, this is probably as good a deterrent and as a locking fuel door.

I had assumed the mustang would employ this same trickery. That does not appear to be the case. Can insert anything smaller than the opening.

As mentioned already, that one only works on:
Mustang 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014

I'm sure Ford will have one for the 2015s soon ... hopefully. I wouldn't mind having one myself.

Yea I knew that, I just put the link up there for reference.

I don't get why ford couldn't just lock the damn fuel door. Small things like this goes along way.
