Ok here is the deal with this one. I have ordered 3 of these from 3 vendors and every single one came with manufacturing defects. the defects were dimples and deep imperfections in the molding process. I was able to return 2 of them but CJ would not take this one back and that really got me upset and they lost a customer over this telling me this is normal quality. that is like buying a hood with dents in it and the parts guy telling you that's normal live with it.

go read the reviews on CJ site and others complaining of what i mentioned.

the panel comes gloss black and it shows the imperfections and looks horrible as it comes out of the box. if your willing to accept this sub par finish from Ford then so be it but it wasn't going on my car.

i DA the entire panel and removed the defects without the need to use any filler material. and it is smooth and ready for paint, vinyl wrap or dipping or choice. I have a nice large roll of 3M 1080 satin black and matte black vinyl i can include in the sale for an additional $30

my loss is your gain as i am buying a carbon fiber panel now hoping it will be free of defects

$60 shipped in original box as shown

I purchased an exhaust from CJP and the picture of the item is not what I received. I tried to argue it, but they said it will still work the way that it is. I also received a clamp that was too small, so I can't finish my exhaust install just yet. They lost me as a customer as for sure.

CJ customer support on the matter def sucks but no matter who you buy this part from it will have the defects i mention and your stuck with it. it is a ford manufacturing issue that i doubt will ever be corrected just like the poor body fitment on our cars and everything else. it isnt priority to the upper management for these complaints but i would never install this tail lamp panel as it comes no damn way. it took me almost two hours to level the panel smooth as shown.

i really enjoy the CJ videos for sure but coming from the classic mustang arena for the past 25 years we never bought from CJ for any classic parts. it is a shame that they are not willing to offer good support for such matters.

I will take it

Why did you go through all the effort and waste a bunch of time, only to sell it?

i bought a new front grill to do a grill delete up front and wasn't a fan of the texture plastic blank look so i bought a carbon fiber grill with mesh and want to match the trunk to the grill since i don't have any carbon on the car. i plan to also do carbon side mirror caps and the lower skirt kit to really make it a nice package throughout.
