After thinking for a while whether to go FI or N/A, I ended up with staying N/A for a while. I really like the FRPP 3 package, but I am also seeking to have a Catted long tube headers. If I get a FRPP3 and headers, the tune will be duplicate. Any thoughts on this? Not sure if this is the right route to go.

Use the tune that comes with FR PP3 till you get headers, then just get a dynotune after you get the headers on.

You'll need a real tune for the headers. Buy the GT350 IM and CAI, headers, etc and get a tune from a reputable tuner. Lund, Livernois, JDM, etc. No point in buying the FRPP 3 kit, then buying another tune. You are spending more than you need to.

Thanks. Will my warranty void as soon as I get the headers and a tune?
The reason why I want frpp3 is because of the warranty.

Not sure why I could not think of that lol. Prob have to stick with frpp3 and when the warranty is done go with headers and tune.

If your warranty is your concern then skip the headers for now and use the FR kit.

I know Lund doesn't really tune for headers. They turn off the rear o2 to prevent a CEL.

On tunes that don't turn off the o2, you could prevent the CEL with a defouler.

if your looking to do headers, you would be better off going with one of our lund packages with jlt or pmas intake.

both are nice options and will work well and can work with the headers and get no check engine light.

let me know if you have any questions

If you are worried about the warranty, just run the Ford Package till your warranty has ended, then you can go the route you need with the custom tuning. I would recommend Lund Racing when you are ready to pull the trigger though. We use them to tune all of our shop cars here at Lethal Performance and they can get your tune SPOT ON! Let me know if I can assist at all!
