FRPP 3 & Lund tune combo question

After the PP is installed, and using the Ford tune, can I stack a Lund tune on top of the Ford tune? How does that work? I live in CA and would most likely have to take out the Lund tune for smog inspection.

I'm debating on the FRPP 3 + shorty headers, or a Roush SC. I'd like to get more info before going either option, so I'm happy with my purchase instead of regretting it.

Any help is appreciated.

no you will have to revert to stock tune before installing lunds tune. go with the frpp roush supercharger.

So the smog guys will notice a tune, but not notice a supercharger?

Unless I misunderstood something from the prior reading about a Lund tune, thought they weren't legal in CA, I could be mistaken. I'm not worried about that part, my main question is about stacking.

Yes you can replace the pp3 tune with a lund tune. I've seen many places on here that he recommends tuning with the stock throttle body because of surging though.

the lund tune would override the ford tune.

we normally return to stock before adding another tune, that way your other device is opened up.
