But this way the sequential is almost non-visible.. others should concentrate on your tribar to notice that

For the EU drivers, we timed it to the standard blinking speed, the idea being that they would stay on for at least a moment before turning off so it's not too abrupt and still visible on the road.

Thanks!
I actually like the appearance of the EU drivers. It reminds me of the sequential turn signals on modern Audis. So you got that quick sequentials but still quite a few time to have the turn lights light up.

The "other solution" has instead a very short time where all bars are light up as turn signals, but of course you see the sequence better.

So in the end both versions have their own great style

Again I would point towards Audi, where it's kind of similar and still very cool looking :)

Could it be possible to use the US drivers in EU cars?

It worked with the old version too, but they have the problem that with engine on the 3rd bar won't light up thanks to the sequence timing plus the PWM of the EU Mustang :frusty:

Really looking forward to my DD tribars.
But it will still take some time before I'm finally getting rid of the foglight-drl :headbonk:

Those audi sequential are faster than DD EU version, and the time it stays on is shorter. Audi system is looking good!
But as always, this is my opinion so if someone likes the mod this way, well it's ok. The important is that it should be clear to potential customers that the appearance is very different compared to US version.
:)

At least you can see it like this: Every issue-free solution for EU customers is better than yellow foglight-drl
Right, People should be clear that the look is different

I used the exact frames of the video the make the gifs. I also thought in the Video it appeared way faster, but I let the gif and Video run parallel and they matched perfectly

But I saw that my Phone is playIng the gifs too Slow when i Look in the topic. Open the gif in a separate tab it has the right speed

I've just completed install of DRLs from our Eastern Europe colleague - I am very impressed. LEDs are very bright, communication was very quick and helpful, and product performs as described.

I didn't go for sequential turn as I prefer it on Audi's when it 'strobes' across a strip of LEDs, rather than the separate gills on the Mustang. Also quite like the simple look, but can appreciate why people like the sequential turn signal.

Some things were different from your install papinist:
- The light cluster was not fully baked open, instead it appears the more recent decision is to cut open a panel on the rear of the lights and leave the factory seal alone. This sealing of the cut panel is very professional and virtually un-noticable once back on the car.
- The wires from the lights came fitted with a connector, which allowed easy install of the required harness mods
- The recommendation was not to use the wiper motor switched 12V, but instead the blue (or purple) wire directly outside the engine bay fusebox. In my case (Ecoboost) I only had the purple wire, which is switched ignition, so DRLs only come on when ignition is on, but I am happy with this :)

The way they are opened and closed are unique to the service of he who's name cannot ben mentioned and in my opinion far superior to oven baking practices.
