Off topic. You must glue foam boards at the walls to avoid scratches and door dings . Too much tiny space !

I am starting to get confused with all this DRL info and more and more annoyed with Ford.

It angers me that people are having to take their cars apart to get a feature that we all thought we were going to have well, those of us that ordered early.

They should be helping us get these to work.

I am not sure what countries the DRLs are not legal in but I do not believe it is all the countries that dont have them.

How the hell can Ford design a feature that is so unique and so cool and then suddenly realize "Oh dear, they arent legal everywhere" It was designed as a World Car!

Do something Ford!

They re not going to do anything for the simple reason: US selling figures are HUGE.

They don't give a shit for the rest of the world. That's why we do have a dozen of missing features - DRL is just one of them. EU regulations my @$$ Hundreds of models have DRLs even Ford models.

Ford says: "are you maniac with Mustang? OK , because we are a good company , we are thinking about you and now here is your chance to own one AS IS. Take it or leave it. We don't care if some dozens of features are missing. God bless America. "

Actually I doubt the design team was aware of the obnoxiously different lighting regulations around Europe when they did the initial design of the front end and the front light units. They were probably suckerpunched by that when this part of the design was already in stone.

But that does indeed not excuse the rediculous decision to simply remove the entire part and replace it with a fog light.

I bet it would actually have been cheaper if they had simply kept the same headlight unit for worldwide application and solved the DRL problem with a software setting.

The only person in Europe who is actually quite happy with what Ford did here is carniggia, because it has landed him a nice new business
