So I've got the wheel hop and some Viking adjustable for the rear of the car, what are good options for the front. I see Viking is selling front coilover but they look pricy. What dampers are best for the strip?

Depends.

The best stock style struts are going to be stock units.

In some cases, I have worked with a few people in getting the Koni Yellow adjustables to work....but I wouldnt suggest people acquire them in looking for better performance.

Do keep in mind that at the current time, the fastest S550 Mustangs use factory front struts.

The fastest period. The fastest 6r80. The fastest MT82.

The fastest NA car uses BMR drag springs up front with Strange Single adjustables from an S197 that I worked with him to make work on the S550. He could probably make the stock struts work just fine, I am confident.

The 3 quickest sixty foot S550 IRS cars, all use the same exact suspension parts from BMR and Viking - and all 3 have stock front struts.

Just thought I would share. ;)
