Does anyone offer a replacement (black) emblem for the front pony that uses actual hardware to hold it on? I have now gotten 2 from UPR, and they both suck. I even ziptied it on for a month the second time to make it stick, and it still comes unstuck at the tail and the head of the horse. Anyone sell the actual black OEM emblem with the mounting hardware?

I read a lot of the reviews of that one stating that people had issues with the washer breaking the clips off when they tried to install. Did you encounter those issues/if so what did u do to resolve? I was thinking of just making sure the holes on the washers are spread out enough before installation?

Just stick a small screwdriver slightly bigger than the opening through the washer. It will spread it out just enough to go on the pin all the way without breaking them. I used a small deep socket as well to help evenly push the washer on.

When you get the ones that use locking washers to hold them on, don't use a screwdriver to put them on, use a small deep dish socket, 5.5 or 6 mm. That way even pressure is applied all the way around.
