Is anyone planning to add some type of protective coating for the hood...front end to guard against stone chips? Any recommendation?

I thought about it. Decided against it. My best friend owns a vinyl/wrap shop. I thought about yellow for time for a change lol.

I paid $1,800 for Xzilon application both exterior and interior. I've never done anything like that before, but I've never bought a car like this before. My dealership owns the Chevy one too and they haven't sold a C7 without it. It was hard for me to pull the trigger on this, my '12 I traded in was over 3 years old and it was flawless with no protection.

I would definitely not put the hood protection as it will show (my wife's MKZ has this).

Supposedly if anything happens paint, wheel scratches, windshield chips or cracks, it is 100% covered for 5 years with original OEM replacements used.
