I was just wondering if Ford still attaches a BUC tag to the front core support of specialty/limited builds - and does the true 50th LE have one?

Has anyone checked for it?

If it exists, it would be a 2”x3” metal tag with last 6 digits of the VIN, misc. stamped codes for equipment, date (MO/DAY) and possibly a word relating to the special production (maybe 50 Anniversary, etc.).

Many of the specialty/limited production Mustangs from the past had this BUC tag affixed to the front rad core support, usually located low and behind the driver side headlight. It was either machine stapled or screwed to the core support.

For instance, my 94 Cobra has one, prior SVT Cobras (2004-1993) had it as well as the Fox SSP (Police), SVO’s, Pace Cars and Saleens.
