I requested that no holes be drilled on the front bumper for the license plate bracket. I was able to look at the convertible just after it was delivered. Instead of 'dimples' on the front bumper (as on all just delivered Mustangs), there are small threaded anchor points at the dimple spots. My dealer had never seen them 'pre-drilled'. My car was one of the 4,000 kept on hold for two months. Would Flat Rock need to put plates on a QC check car? Only 15 miles on the Odometer. I know that my dealer did not do the drilling because the 'holes' were there when the vehicle was delivered. I already decided that I was going to use the OEM plate bracket anyway...so the holes are pre-drilled and pre-threaded for me.
