I did as Donson asked the day he posted this and just sent an e-mail with my business signature and header on it.....all my contact info was within it. As soon as he posted

I got an e-mail back the same day stating that the new car sales Manager can order the car the way I want it.

So if this is legit. I'll secure myself 2 GT350's One for daily use and one for striping down and dedicated for track duty only. And maybe experimenting with different setups.

Or maybe just to have for my sons.

It might be getting hard even now to order other than to choose what the dealer has ordered. If you find an available allocation you might want to act on it.Next year there should be more flexability and more available allocation.

There are still plenty of opportunities to order a 2016 GT350 but you will have to be diligent with respect to contacting a Ford dealer in your area and this that does not go well then reach out to any Ford dealer in America.

Most Ford dealers still don't have their 2016 allocations as of yet and even the few that do don't know whether they are getting a base GT35 or an R model. The majority of the 2016 allocations are being done on a lottery basis with some high volume dealers such as in Texas and California getting more than the average Ford dealer.

If you are sincere about purchasing a 2016 GT350 send me a PM and if I can help you out I will as I know a number of dealers that are still working on their 2016 allocations.

In the mean time start contacting your local Ford dealers up your way.

Agree. At this time next year they will be sitting around looking for a home.

AFAIK, this is not true. The dealers who paid to be a part of the Shelby GT350 program have known their 2016 allocations for several weeks, and they do know what the mix will be.

But I agree with bullitman. Right now ordering one how you want might be tough, but Im sure there are still allocations out there to be had, at MSRP is another story, im sure those orders are being gobbled up

The dealers with allocations and large ADMs likely still have unordered cars, but im sure will draw a line in the sand at some point instead of waiting for a taker, just order a car and have it come to the lot and hope to snag a sucker

Any order without a VIN (which at this point is almost all 2016s) easily can be changed, so people who haven't yet locked up a car should be able to get a what they want.

Was'nt trying to dismiss you, been thru this 3 times last 10 years, just keep after it, like a couple posters said it's going to get harder and harder to get a car this year......Especially at a good price. GOOD luck

Seriously man, after countless threads and posts about the morals/ethics of dealerships who charge ADM and how unfair it is to average buyers, yadda, yadda, yadda.

So instead of doing the moral and ethical thing like buying 1 car and leaving 1 for another true enthusiast, he tries to grab 2! Un-freakin-believable.
