I hooked up Forscan to my 2019 ecoboost and was planning to use the plain English programming method to set it to 6 speakers and flat EQ. There doesn’t seem to be a plain English setup for the ACM. Am I missing something on this? All I see is AS-BUILT. I am ok with changing the values manually in AS-BUILT but I don’t know all of the values. I know how to get the flat EQ but what about the speakers? From the F150 spreadsheet:
727-01-01 bit position 3 sets up front/rear satellite speakers. It sounds like this should be set to 0 for my base model
727-01-01 bit position 4 sets up Aux1 and Aux2 . Is this for the subwoofer? I don’t have one so this should be set to 0 right?
727-01-01 bit position 5 sets A2B, Alternative Frequency, and Number of Presets. What is A2B and alternative frequency?
727-01-01 bit position 6 sets up front tweeters, chime strategy, active noise control, and USB. I think this should be set to B right?
727-01-01 bit position 9 center channel open detection, Auxiliary Audio Module, convertible, and turn signal chimes. Center position open refer to the center speaker? What is the Auxiliary Audio Module?
727-01-01 bit 10 sets up several things including rear tweeters
I only have 6 speakers. I know the higher trims have more but I don’t really see all of the speakers defined in this spreadsheet. I count up a possibility of 10 speakers but I think there are more than that on the higher trim packages
Any thoughts or information would be helpful.
