If your not going to use any of the features go ahead and turn off. It doesn’t effect the car in any negative way.

What all does it control? Obviously GPS, which controls track and drag mode Other than that, i am not sure what it has to do with

No, it has nothing to do with drive modes. And it does not turn off your GPS.

Only bad to turn it off if you prefer for Ford to be able to flush the toilets in your house whenever they want to.

I like when mine sends me alerts for adding fluids or oil changes because my girlfriend drives my car so I know it needs something cause she ignores it.
