345-355hp 2017 Mustang EB incoming!!!
This needs to happen. And hopefully keep it as close to 3500 lbs as possible and call it the SVO.

Bah. I'm on the fence between a '15 & '16 Eco. If they were going to put it in the '16 I'd wait for sure :D

I'm being told there is an actual MPG gain with the new, more efficient Twin Scroll. Maybe 32-33 highway???

If true, the Gen 1 2.3 will be a two MY run. About the same as the Gen 1 Coyote, I think the oil squirters were removed in 2012/'13 and put back in later.

Also, keep in mind, the EB is still slotted to be the ONLY future base.

I have a feeling a twin scroll 3.x V6 will fit in at where the GT was first at (400-420)

The GT's DI could push it into the 470hp range in a few years, leaving more room for a Turbo 6.

I don't think this will happen, at least not before the FoRS also gets upgrades or something else to add to the exclusivity(other than AWD). Ford will have a hard time justifying the higher cost of the FoRS that has mechanical upgrades to back up that HP # over the EBM which could match the number with just a tune. If the EBM got a bump in power it would likely be tied to a hi-po model with a higher price.

Yeah, I haven't driven a 6 because no dealer has ever seen one. I took the EB out & was EXTREMELY happy with it. Have not taken the 8 out, but honestly the 4 would be more than adequate, so I could only imagine how much fun a turbo 6 would be.

This is awfully temping to get providing it isn't insanely priced. I am hoping the mid 30s, I'd be in

Still too many doors. Wish we could get a 2 door RS. Not everyone has two rugrats and junk to haul around all the time.

With this body style 3 doors would look ridiculous. The previous generation Focus (different car to the USA second Gen) looked good with 3 doors because it was a more old-school hatchback shape with a sloping roofline - but the Gen III is too boxy at the back.

I agree on this one, it is perfect way to match the power of the V6 Camaro. If they keep the 3.7 for 2017 they will win the "paper" power war when comparing the 3.7 to the 4 cylinder Camaro and the Eco have more than the Camaro V6. Creates an interesting scenario since the Eco will look more powerful than the 3.7 like the 4 and 6 will for the Camaro.

Though I do not think the 5.0 will be updated or changed until 2019 MY, unless they do as you have said.

That looks bloody amazing.
