See I've been eyeing the Focus RS since they announced North American availability. Its been a long painful process but I finally managed to get an order in for a 2017 at MSRP from a dealer in Baltimore (I live in California). This is going to be my wife's car (I'm keeping my mustang 
).
Car just got built last week in Germany so probably a few more months before it makes it to Cali. I got to test drive one and they are a lot of fun. 350HP AWD with torque vectoring makes for some fun canyon carving and just zipping around town. I believe they have the same engine as the Ecoboost Mustang but with an upgraded twin scroll turbo and performance wise they are real close to a Mustang GT.
They are worth checking out as the 2017's are hitting dealers this month.
