Don't bet on it, I had a chance to buy a PP Boss 302 at one point. Timing is everything though, and mine's been off since I was born prematurely.
These cars may eventually make it to used car lots or at the very least wholesale auctions. Now will the PP LEs maybe not since it is a limited run. Other vehicles have escaped certain death and destruction recently though including preproduction GT500.

OK so this clarifies most of my dash questions except for one. Which dash is in the GT premium non-performance package with the 50th appearance package?
Same axle spun aluminum as the LE but without the guages.

Thanks for all the pics.

I'm glad I got to see RR with the PP wheels. Those 19" gloss black wheels are terrible looking.

After seeing all these pics, I like the base 18" wheels the best so far out of the ones here today and seeing them in person myself.

By chance did you ask him about the 19" EB PP wheels that were going around on all the test cars that were Gunmetal and why they are forcing black wheels on us?

TT = tooling trial (check the tooling of the body)
PP = pilot production (above + production grade parts & doing a run down the line for the processes to build)

TT cars are built before PP cars, as I understand from what's been posted here and explained to me.
Tony and I know a bit about Pilot Production vehicles, at least the '08 BULLITT, right T? :)

Just a bit perhaps. :)

You will like your Mustang in black. It looks good in the flesh.

That spoiler should be named the "Tacked-on Spoiler"
It's basically a spoiler on top of a spoiler.

Cool. There is a lot of worry on here about the S550 "losing the lines" in black, and its mostly based on photos. In person, I think black always looks good.

My '11 looks like a black blob in photos. :)

Oh, and thanks for all this Tony, and keeping us informed while we wait for our cars.

What will we do with you once we have our keyfobs in hand? :)

I believe I have the answer for the main reason why they are forcing black wheels on us. In the past customers have complained about brake dust, particularly from the bigger brakes. Having black wheels seems to "camouflage" the dust and makes them less prone to making the wheel look dirty.

This is the only logical reason I could think of. Other than that I really agree with you, the gun metal version is sooo much better.
