Fix my hood turn signals

Recently bought a "used" 2016 GT pp with 204 miles on it. Love the car! But noticed on the drive home from the dealership that the hood blinkers are not working. I would take it back to the dealership but it is 200+ miles away. I'm thinking th previous owner disabled the lights. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks

Have you checked under the hood to see if they are disconnected?

Yes I tried to move the heat shield and run along the lines but can't see any disconnect.

Well short of following the wiring, or having someone chime in that may have seen this issue before you should be able to take it to any dealer for a warranty service.

Have you verified that the other blinker lights are working?

Any other Ford dealership should honor your warranty !

I bought a 2011 GT in the US back in 2010 and was able to get Ford Canada to
honor my warranty. Just sayin'

There should be two connectors. One at the blinker behind the heat panel. The other is at the back of the headlamp. The first one is easier to get to, upon removing the big panel.

Yea. I switched to that blinker fluid and my 60' times dropped to 0.88 and quarter is 8.76 at 163. Good stuff.
Just be sure to change muffler bearings, benzene rings and kaframp stand at the same time.

Did you have to keep a bucket of steam handy
Also did you use the prescribed left handed monkey wrench

:(That would have been the way to do it but I am an idiot.
My Leftie was tore up. So we connected 3 righthanders together and tboned my knuckles on the header before we realized what was happening.
