I have a 2017 S550 and I am going to run a staggered setup, I have 20x10+35 fronts and I'm thinking 275/35/20's and for the rear 20x11+45 and I'm thinking 305/35/20's. Here's the monkey wrench in the equation, I have Eibach Sport line springs installed. Anyone here with this set up or or knowledge to know if this setup will work without scrubbing? I searched previous post and the person that responded sent his remarks to their PM.

You might have better luck in the TECH / Wheel & Tire forum, but I can take a crack at it.

Some of this is going to depend on what rim you intend to run, and the offset/backspacing it has for both the front and the back.

I did have this combo on my GT with Steeda progressive springs (which dropped the car about 1" front and back):

Front: 19x10 rim (35mm Offset) - 285/35R19 - a *tiny* bit of rub if I steer on the stops. I should have put a spacer in there.

Rear: 19x11 rim (50mm offset) - 325/30R19 - No rubbing but I could barely fit my finger between the inner tire and the brake hose bracket mounted to the inner fender. I can also just fit my hand between the edge of the tire and the fender.

If you intend on running 35 ratio on the back it may be too tall depending on what your rim offset is. If it's 50 or larger it's going to hit the fender.

Hi,

Interested to see your post on running 285/25/19 and 325/30/19 tyres on your GT!
I have just bought a set SVE handling pack style wheels from LMR (I'm in the UK), they have 35 & 50 mm offset on the 10" & 11" rims respectively.
Going to run exactly the same sizes on my GT Shadow convertible (Michelin PS4s).
Gone for this after doing a bit of research.
Whilst I've upgraded the chassis bracing and IRS etc I'm on stock suspension and ride height as mine is just a cruiser/fast road car.

I'm assuming the rub on the front is down to your car being lowered?

305/35/20 is a bad idea lowered that much.

Go back down to 19 or 18 wheels in back
