Not really but did use some tools. I did need one wrench for the jam nut on the 90 degree fitting for the oil separator.
Wickers on. Oil separator in. Rain tray removed. Not a bad job. Took me about 1.5 hours for all three.

Nope,
Wickers, Gurney, & puke tank were not considered apart of dealers prep.
All 3 pcs come in boxes & wrapped up.
(Something about 'track use only' is the reason they can say no to these items if they so choose?)
🤷

Tony,
Did the GT350's / earlier 500's come with the puke can installed ?

It took me a hell of a lot longer than 1.5 hours to do all of mine. I kept cursing myself for not emptying my Dad's toolbox to grab all of my tools before I brought them into our warehouse for storage. I had pliers, bits, a few sockets, and limited sizes of wrenches. None of which fit anything I needed lol.

The last step with rerouting the wires seems to be new. I don't remember it in Tim's video when he did his PDI.

Wait, they dont come with oil sep installed anymore?
No, you have to install it yourself.

Looks good! Were the can instructions helpful at all?

Also..
Anyone else see the guy who put magnets on his car & matching locations on rain tray, to attach it? (qwikly)
He said he saw it on another car mdl & did his own 500 that way. 😳

The oil separator was standard Ford Racing instructions so they were good. The Wicker and Gurney Flap left something to be desired, but they are pretty self-explanatory if you are somewhat mechanically inclined.

@Jmeo did it on his car. The things he used are in one of the posts on here.

What he said. The separator instructions are good. Wickers pretty self explanatory but the instructions did not make mention of the metal snap in clips that the smallest screws go into. You will see 4 square holes, 2 each side on the bottom of the front splitter they snap into. Just line the wicker up and make note of the 6 screws in the fender well, 3 each side, and the 8 screws, 4 each side, you remove from the bottom of the front splitter.

I installed the the wickers and oil separator on my 2020 so that learning curve helped a lot as far as my total instal time.
I too don’t recall the repositioning of the wires from the last install. I think that’s a new step. It moves that wiring harness a little away from the metal 90 degree fitting installed on the valve cover for the oil separator.

Sounds like a good bonding time, I know I felt good to start wrenching on mine and getting it prepared for play.
