Also you don't need to worry about hitting the lights right. The time will start whenever you cross the start. This is different if you are racing but if you are just going for a quick ET you don't have to worry about it.

Hey Monte,

P.S- Make sure to fully turn off advance-trac!

How do you fully turn off advance-trac?
Mine has a button to turn it off.
Are you saying that just pushing the button is not enough?

Had a blast and definitely hooked! First pass ran a 16.1. Spun pretty hard since I was the second car in line. Second pass was a 14.2 at 98mph. Third and final pass was a bust and didn't get a time. Got a little too cocky I believe and over shot the staging lights and they just waved me thru.

All in all was a awesome night and already starting to make plans for the next TnT. Thanks all for the awesome advice I believe I used just about every tip that was mentioned.

Put your foot on the brake and hold, then push/hold the traction control button until you get the Advance Trac off on the message screen. It usually takes 5-7 seconds for it to disable/flash the message. It will reset to on if you turn the car off, so best to do it as you pull out of the staging lane and head for the line.

Thanks. I did not know about normal Advance-Trac OFF and fully turning it OFF.

What is the difference in the two?

Does briefly pushing the button leave some aspects of traction control in place?

I actually could fit the radials on. They were 17s and wouldn't clear the brake calipers.
But this is on street tires. I'm car 161

Thanks. Not bad for a tune only car and my first time. Really wanted a 13.9 but hopefully next time
